The National EMS Payment Reform Committee is a collaborative, industry-wide effort established to develop consensus-based, data-driven policy recommendations that modernize the Medicare Ambulance Fee Schedule and ensure payment systems accurately reflect the true cost of providing emergency medical services. Our mission is to provide policymakers with guidance grounded in real-world operations to ensure long-term sustainability and innovation in the nation’s EMS system.
